In all my life, all my years never knew my father had skills on the set lol. I knew he was in a band…but he completely wowed me at a mini jam session the other night.
Truly happy and honored that Detox got picked up by radio. Of course I captured the moment on video of THE FIRST spin by DJ Self of Power 105.1 in NY. Detox is currently being serviced to stations nationwide. You can help request it in your city by contacting your local station. This is a HUGE step for me, so thx to everyone who supports. Official video coming soon of course lol!
Listen to the FULL record on youtube below and share on twitter and fb!
Sidenote: I suffered with a small case of laryngitis during this taping, that’s why I sound crazy
xo
OMG I can not believe this. Heavy D has passed due to what I hear was complications with Pneumonia. When I first heard I thought it may have been a heart attack or another health issue. Last I saw him, he wasnt Heavy D, he was Skinny D. I used to see him occasionally at SRC, and in my neighborhood. I remember he was trying to put out some new music, but it never came out. He’s had a huge impact on hip hop, and I wish he got his credit while he was alive. Here’s my favorite song from Heavy D and “the boys”. Enjoy

check out # 8 “Hugs and Kisses”
So a couple weeks ago, my manager pulled me into the studio with a producer/artist from Israel named Meli One. I decided to do a mini interview, naturally, because I’m so damn nosy. The volume is low so below is the transcript.
Same day we [rap artist Clap Cognac and I] finished recording a song we started earlier in the Summer called “Hugs & Kisses”. Track was not produced by Meli One, but here you will get some snippets of me recording the lead vocals, before layering up with more vocals and adding harmonies.
DISCLAIMER: this is my FIRST time editing on Windows Move Maker which sucks, so please cut me some slack, I need to get me Adobe Premiere so I can do some fancier editing… peace b*tches
yes, I’m going by MoBai (for now)
Transcript:
MoBai: So I’m here with Meli One. Producer/Aritst/Producer, from Israel, and he’s here in NY playing some tracks for Clap and I..soo…
Meli One: You like the tracks?
MoBai: I love them, think they’re dope (track starts playing in background) That’s not one of them! So tell us how long you’ve been producing
Meli One: I’ve been producing for about 4 or 5 years, I’m 24 yrs old, from Israel
MoBai: O, how old are you and where are you from?
Meli One: This is my life, this is my job. I really love what I’m doing.
MoBai: But what’s important is that you said once it [music] was a hobby
Meli One: Yes, for two or three years it was a hobby…and now thank God its my job. That’s why I’m here
MoBai: You want to name some artists you’ve worked with in Israel, you said you worked with some big name artists earlier…
MeliOne: De Loco, DJ Blackout is very famous in Israel, big DJ, producer, rapper…
MoBai: I’m gonna have to look up some of these artists

Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony may have been looking cozy, but talk is bubbling up that the two were arguing “nonstop” during the months leading up to the end of their marriage.
Lopez and Anthony, who announced Friday that they would divorce, reportedly clashed over personal and professional issues — that according to a bevy of unnamed sources piping up in the wake of the breakup.
The “Hawthorne” actor allegedly tried to call the shots over Lopez’s wardrobe choices for an Us Weekly photo shoot last year, the mag said, shooting down one of her choices as “too sexy and unbecoming for a 40-year-old mother of two.” One Us source called him a “dominating husband.”
There are those who tell a happier story. One “American Idol” source told E! News that Lopez was devoted to her husband, treating his professional opinions as if they were coming from a manager, and that the two were never seen fighting. But a source close to the couple saw it differently, telling E!, “He was all over her all the time — about everything — and I know she tried very hard, and for a long time, to act like it didn’t bother her, but I know it did. A lot.”
About the couple’s 3-year-old twins, Max and Emme: In the short term they will be hanging with mom for a bit in Atlanta while she’s filming “What to Expect When You’re Expecting,” Life & Style said.
After the couple announced their split, there were reports linking Lopez romantically to William Levy, the hunk in her “I’m Into You” music video. Levy’s rep, however, told TMZ that the “only relationship there was or is, is a professional relationship. That’s all there’s ever been.”
Moving on to the Ben Affleck angle, which has nothing to do with infidelity and perhaps little to do with anything: J. Lo’s mom allegedly sought advice on Jen’s behalf last week from Affleck, whom Lopez dumped in 2004 after an 18-month engagement. Via e-mail, he “wished her well and offered what he could,” an Us source said. Mmm-kay.
On the other hand, for years there has been speculation about Lopez worrying Anthony was unfaithful — but a People connection said he had been faithful and supportive, and that the rest is just talk.
“They started to see life differently,” the source said
Will J Lo ever keep a man? thought?
Is it possible to be a power woman and maintain a family life?
