The cover star of the January 2011 issue of British GQ, Rihanna is still thinking about her past relationship with Chris Brown. Here’s an excerpt from the interview:

“Sometimes when you’re on the inside of a relationship like that, you can’t see it clearly for what it is. I left – it was the best feeling. It was so freeing…I witnessed it happening to my mum and I said I would never let that happen to me – and then it was happening. Now, when I look back, it bugs me out that I couldn’t see it for what it was.”

49-year-old Scottish star Susan Boyle would like to work Rihanna.

The I Dreamed A Dream singer sees the Barbados-born beauty as one of her pop rivals, and believes the pair could work together on an R&B project, although she is unsure how it would sound.

“I’ve got hard competition. But there are certain types of music that you’re good at and certain types that you’re not. I mean, would I be good at R&B? I suppose you never know,” said Boyle.

“Maybe me and Rihanna could get together, I could dye my hair purple.”
